As a young child in China, she was beaten and abused by her step-father, and made to labor day and night. When she married and had children she was mistreated by her husband and her in-laws. She eventually developed many illnesses, and lost hope in life. In 1997 she began practicing Falun Dafa. Though illiterate, she learned to study Zhuan Falun, and her life changed completely.
