Episode 118, Carrie Slater

Richard Basson called police to report that he had accidentally stabbed his girlfriend Carrie in the face with a pool cue. He said that he’d been defending himself and she had lunged towards him and impaled herself on the pool cue. But as soon as officers arrived at the scene, they could see straight away that Richard was lying. The forensic evidence would point to the truth… but Carrie’s injuries were so bad, that it was simply unbelievable to officers attending the scene that Richard would ever think he’d get away with this horrific, and possibly deadly attack.
