The ranger thought that Bob seemed abnormally calm in reporting the death. The fact he’d waited in line, and then in explaining what had happened, he’d shown almost no emotion. Bob told the ranger that he and his wife had stopped to take a photo and as he was setting up the tripod, he heard a little sound, turned back around, and saw that Donna was gone. Donna had stumbled backwards and fallen to her death.
